The Service Contracts are evaluative geological-mining studies of integral character or specific activity performed by the Mexican Geological Service at the request of individuals upon request.
Requirements for service:
To present in Central Offices or in any Regional Office of the Mexican Geological Service, the "Request for Service Contracts" (format SGM-00-002 ) duly filled out and / or request in writing clearly stating the study performed.

Applications may be submitted:
- Personally
- Legal representative
- Messaging
- Mail
Documents annexed to the application:
- Existing documentation that covers the legal possession of the mining lot and / or property.
- Letter or legal accreditation to force, if necessary.
- Photo ID (copy).
Benefits:
- Knowledge of the geological-mining characteristics and development opportunities in a deposit, project, area or region.
Cost of service:
- The cost of execution of the work is variable, but in case of concluding the contract, stipulated therein.
Standard of service (response time):
- Information: Within 7 working days period from receipt of the request, will notify the applicant of the cost of service and requirements or missing documents.
- Execution of work: 21 to 90 business days, depending on the accessibility of the site and the magnitude of the work to develop.
Confidentiality of information:
Generated information is strictly confidential in favor to the applicant and will have the effect to be agreed with the applicant and provided in the contract, counted from the date of delivery of the final report and the corresponding certificate. During this period, can only be integrating with the SGM to its cartographic geological-mining or consulted by the public upon approval of the applicant.
Documents received by the applicant:
- Original copy of the contract.
- Final printed report.
